1st Piece
Original piece
I adjusted it to 16 by 20 (size)
I chose Red color to highlight the lanterns and the diyas.
Brush size:8
This is how it looks like, when it's highlighted. Linear Dodge was chosen to give a striking look.
Then, i went to portrait and chose details. i detailed my piece and it gave a detailed look without any noise.
As for the background, i used a yellowish brown color.
Later i went to filter and chose ink outline (brush strokes). Finally the texture i chose is craquelure.
Final Result!
My Second Piece
This is combination between a shamisen and a veenai. Both are musical instrument which gives the same sound but different in shape. I used the same techniques i used for my previous painting. the only difference is the texture. The texture used is Sumi-e.
This is a combination between a Indian kolam and Yin & Yang. Same technique used here but texture is different. Technique used here is Mezzotint.
Hope you guys liked it! :)
